Breathe. Deeply. In. Out. Again. That’s my process. Life is meant to be full of breaths: full of everything life has to offer; and we are meant to thrive through it all.
To me, mental health means awareness and feedback. Being aware of the fluctuations in our thoughts, mood, body, and more helps us take the necessary steps of recovery and stability. I am here to help you do just that, through all the ups and downs.
I have worked with the psychiatric population since the beginning of my career as a Hospitalist Physician Assistant, helping to manage mental health patients from young to younger. I then transitioned to Addiction Medicine helping substance use disorder patients through detox/withdrawal with the use of medication assisted treatment, including Suboxone and Vivitrol. Most recently, I even had the honor of working with inmates in a correctional facility.
In this rapidly growing field, with both an increasing number of patients and treatment modalities, I have accepted the responsibility to treat each patient respectfully and respectively. Each patient I see, whether they’re dealing with anxiety, a mood disorder, a personality disorder, acute or chronic psychosis, or even a substance use disorder, is recognized as an entire person and managed holistically. I am truly excited to be a part of this lifelong journey with each of you and hope that we build a lasting, healthy relationship with each other.
