My name is Antony Antony, I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who is a big proponent of the recovery model approach to mental health care. This method allows me to treat clients through a holistic person-centered approach. I like to encourage the idea that it is possible to recover from mental illness. I believe everyone is unique and should be treated as such with individualized treatment plans. In my practice, I like to learn about my client’s backgrounds and listen to each person’s thoughts and ideas, thus allowing us to make decisions together as a team. It is important that I build therapeutic relationships with my clients where we can gain trust in each other, allowing me to provide the best quality of care that I can.
