Welcome back. This page brings together everything you need between visits — a secure place to sign in, pay your bill, prepare for your appointment, understand how prescribing works, and find helpful resources. First time signing in? Use the email address on file with our office; the portal opens in a new window. If you ever have a question we haven't answered here, contact our office and we'll be glad to help.
What you can do in your portal
Your patient portal is your secure home for care with TelepsychHealth. Once you're signed in, you can:
- Schedule and manage appointments with your provider
- Join your video visit at your appointment time
- Message your care team with non-urgent questions
- Review your visit notes, treatment plan, and after-visit summaries
- View and pay your bill, and see your statements
- Update your contact details, pharmacy, and insurance on file
Paying for your care
You may pay by credit card, debit card, or HSA/FSA card through My Medical Records. Your current balance and statements are always available in the portal, and payments post to your account automatically.
If you have a question about a charge, your insurance, or setting up a payment, just reach out to our office — we're happy to walk through it with you. See the insurance plans we're in-network with.
Preparing for your visit
A little preparation makes every telehealth visit smoother:
- Be somewhere private and quiet, with a stable internet connection and a device with a camera.
- Confirm your location. Under current telehealth law, you must be physically located in a state where your provider is licensed during each session. You'll verify your location before each visit so we know where you are in case of an emergency.
- Have your pharmacy information handy in case any prescriptions need to be sent or updated.
- Jot down anything you want to discuss — symptom changes, side effects, or questions about your plan.
New to telehealth, or want to get the most out of your appointment? Read our short guide, How to ensure a great virtual visit.
Prescriptions & controlled substances
Most psychiatric medications can be prescribed directly by your online provider. For controlled substances — such as benzodiazepines (e.g., Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin), stimulants for ADHD (e.g., Adderall, Vyvanse, Ritalin), and certain sleep medications — what's possible depends on the state you're located in:
- In California, Illinois, and Florida, our providers can prescribe these medications directly through telehealth when they're clinically appropriate for you.
- In our other states, prescribing a controlled substance may first require an in-person visit or coordination with your primary care provider, who can prescribe it based on your provider's recommendation. Your provider will let you know what applies to your situation.
With your permission, we can also share a copy of your after-visit summary with your primary care provider so your care stays coordinated. The choice of what to share is always yours. For more detail, see our Frequently Asked Questions.
Helpful resources
Care continues between appointments. These free resources can help you keep building momentum:
Our mission to you
We aim to provide the best possible telepsychiatric care — therapy and medication management — for our patients, wherever they are.
We don't see care as transactional. We treat our patients the way we'd want a member of our own family treated — with respect, patience, and a genuine commitment to earning your trust over the long term. Even across the distance of a screen, you matter to us. Read more about our mission.
Requesting your records
Need a copy of your records, or want them sent to another provider? You can request them yourself, anytime. Log in to My Care and complete the Release of Information form in the My Medical Records app — choose what you'd like released and where it should go, and our team will take care of the rest.
