Self-pay rates
Flat, published prices for online psychiatry and therapy without insurance: an initial psychiatric evaluation is $450 with a psychiatrist or $225 with a psychiatric NP or PA, follow-ups are $150 to $225, and individual therapy sessions start at $150 — the same rates in all ten states we serve.
Our rates
What a visit costs
Flat rates by clinician type, the same in every state we serve. Choose a psychiatrist, a psychiatric NP or PA, or a therapist based on what you need — and your clinician can refer you across the team as your care evolves.
Physician-led evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management
The same care model with our advanced-practice clinicians
Licensed clinical counseling and psychotherapy
Group therapy is a weekly online program for Texas and Florida adults — learn about group therapy. Specialized evaluations — VA nexus letters and DBQs, presurgical clearances, fitness-for-duty and other third-party reports — are scoped and priced individually. What paying out of pocket gets you
No memberships, no platform fees, no surprise bills — one flat rate per visit, and paperwork that helps you get money back if your plan allows it.
One flat rate per visit
The price on this page is the price you pay. There is no membership, subscription, or facility charge, and your card is only charged after your visit.
Superbills for reimbursement
If your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, we provide a superbill with the visit and diagnosis codes your insurer needs — many PPO plans reimburse a meaningful share of the cost.
A written Good Faith Estimate
Under the federal No Surprises Act, every self-pay patient receives a written Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before starting care — so the number on this page is also the number in writing.
How self-pay works at TelepsychHealth
Choose self-pay when you book
Request an appointment and select self-pay. No insurance card and no eligibility checks — just pick a time and tell us what you'd like help with.
Get your cost in writing
Before your first visit you receive a Good Faith Estimate listing your expected charges, and a card is kept securely on file. Nothing is charged before you are seen.
Pay the flat rate after each visit
After each appointment your card is charged the published rate — HSA and FSA cards are welcome. Want to seek reimbursement? Ask us for a superbill any time.
Is self-pay right for you?
The same rates in all ten states we serve
TelepsychHealth clinicians are licensed in ten states, and self-pay pricing is identical in every one. Every visit is by secure, HIPAA-compliant video with a clinician licensed where you live.
Your protections
Your cost in writing, before care starts
Under the federal No Surprises Act, anyone who is uninsured or chooses not to use insurance has the right to a Good Faith Estimate — a written list of expected charges — before starting care. We provide one to every self-pay patient, and you can request one at any time, even before booking.
If a bill ever came in $400 or more above your Good Faith Estimate, federal law would give you the right to dispute it. In practice, our flat per-visit rates mean the estimate and the charge are the same number.
Have out-of-network benefits? Ask for a superbill — an itemized receipt with the CPT and diagnosis codes insurers require — and submit it to your plan for reimbursement toward your out-of-network deductible and benefits.
Prefer to use your insurance instead?
We're in-network with Aetna, Anthem Blue Shield, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, UnitedHealthcare/Optum, and Medicare in the states where we're licensed, and we accept straight New York Medicaid. If you'd rather use coverage, we verify your benefits before your first visit so you know your copay up front — see accepted insurance for the full list, or call us at (888) 730-5220.
