TelepsychHealth is looking for a personable, energetic, self-motivated licensed therapist or counselor (LCSW, LPC, LMHC, or LMFT) who is interested in joining a private practice to provide fully virtual therapy and counseling to individuals in New York and Texas. This is a remote position — you would work from home, and patients are seen from their own homes during appointments.
This is an employed W2 position with benefits. You would have the support of intake, benefit verification, insurance credentialing, billing, scheduling, and authorizations, and you would work closely with a multidisciplinary team consisting of a psychiatrist, nurse practitioners, physician associates, and other therapists and counselors.
About the role
- Fully virtual role; patients see you from their homes, not from a clinic or hospital.
- The average patient age is around 20–45, ranging from 18 to 65.
- Our EHR is ChARM: easy to use, reliable, and web-based, with an all-in-one patient portal and scheduling.
- Pay is based on face-to-face time with patients.
- Interest in running group therapy is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Carry out psychotherapy and counseling services in accordance with state and national regulations.
- Maintain the schedule of all your active clients.
- Complete timely appointment notes that comply with insurance contracts.
- Operate and troubleshoot your own technology (computer, software, EHR).
- Collaborate with the other providers of the practice.
Requirements
- An independent, unrestricted license as an LCSW, LPC, LMHC, or LMFT in New York or Texas, with a clean license history and at least 1 year of experience in the field.
- Own a computer with a camera, subscribe to high-speed internet, and have a private, well-lit office to see patients.
- Able to work at least 30 hours per week.
- Willing to consent to a background check.
- An NPI and an attested CAQH profile (register at nppes.cms.hhs.gov and proview.caqh.org), which are required for credentialing with insurance companies.
- Must not currently be under contract or bound by a non-compete with your current employer.
- Must live in the U.S.
